Fashion over function? Whilst the skate's resemblance to a shoe is no accident, it is partly due to the shell's construction out of glass fibre. This provides the necessary ankle support and eliminates the need for a cuff. Which, we think, makes the skates look pretty fresh.

The glass fibre brings the boot very close to your foot, increasing both responsiveness and accuracy whilst (simultaneously) reducing bulk and weight. This makes the skate slimmer without affecting performance. The recall memory fit makes it extremely comfortable and lightweight too.

As you'd expect from a Powerslide skate, the Pheme comes mounted with an elite cast aluminium TRINITY 3 x 100 frame (see below for frame length relative to skate size). This lowers your centre of gravity, distributes your weight more evenly, reduces road vibrations and provides excellent power transfer.

Finished with Powerslide 100mm Spinner wheels and WCD Abec 9 bearings, this stylish skate can handle the everyday use of your skates.
