Made from a mold of an 1800’s glass intaglio seal from England, an elegantly collared greyhound sits serenely with the motto Fidelite arching overhead. Fidelite, the Latin for Faithful, can surely be both a reference to man – or woman’s – best friend, but more likely a sweet reminder of ones faithfulness to those we love. Traditionally, a greyhound symbolizes courage, vigilance and loyalty, all qualities that lend themselves to the essence of faithfulness. We rarely see circular/round antique intaglios and we just love the shape and how it hangs on the neckline! Set in Seal & Scribe’s Signature setting – a contemporary nod to Georgian settings, the prong work is wonderfully crisp, hand-cast in 18kt Royal gold, set in 18kt white gold, on an 18kt yellow gold chain. Perfect with a t-shirt and jeans, or just the right touch for a night on the town!
